Juli + 3. Juli. Heute wollen Tobias und John ihren \u00d6lwechsel beim \u00f6rtlichen KTM-H\u00e4ndler erledigen und ich will versuchen ein neues Garmin Montana aufzutreiben.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roadstomongolia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/img_2048.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 2048\" width=\"450\" height=\"252\"><\/p>\n<p>Nach einem wirklich guten Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck ziehen die Beiden los und ich setze mich an den L\u00e4ppi, um hier in Almaty einen H\u00e4ndler auszumachen, der Navis vertreibt. Nach etwas M\u00fche machte ich einen H\u00e4ndler aus, wom\u00f6glich der Einzige vor Ort. Nachdem ich die Adresse heraus gefunden hatte bin ich zur Rezeption und fragte die nette Dame, wie ich am Besten dort hin komme. Sie rief dann eine Taxe und sagte mir, was ich maximal bezahlen sollte. Das Taxi kam fr\u00fcher als erwartet und sie kam kurz entschlossen mit. Beim Shop angekommen staunte ich nicht schlecht, der Laden war in Sachen Outdoornavigation super sortiert. Sogar ein Montana war da, wahrscheinlich das Einzige in ganz Kasachstan. Einziger Wermutstropfen war, es kostet 770 $&#8230; ungef\u00e4hr das doppelte wie in Deutschland. Aber es ist wie es ist, also Kart gez\u00fcckt und gekauft, schlie\u00dflich ist Blindflug auf Dauer keine L\u00f6sung.<br \/>\nDann ging es zur\u00fcck ins Hotel, wo ich mich noch einmal herzlich bei der netten Rezeptionisten bedankte. Kurz alles gecheckt, die Nordasien-Wegpunkte aufgespielt, OSM-Karte geladen und die Settings angepasst, Problem solved wie die Engl\u00e4nder sagen. Kurz danach kamen zwei strahlende Biker zur\u00fcck, alles glatt gelaufen, Tobias bekam sogar zwei Ersatzblinker, die er gleich anbaute.<br \/>\nAnschlie\u00dfend machten wir uns landfein und fuhren per Taxi ins Restaurant Tschukotka, wo wir einen netten Abend verbrachten.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roadstomongolia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/img_2033.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 2033\" width=\"450\" height=\"252\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roadstomongolia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/img_2037.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 2037\" width=\"450\" height=\"252\"><\/p>\n<p>Auf einen Absacker ging es dann durch den Park in ein angebliches Bikerrestaurant, aber das Publikum entsprach nicht unbedingt unseren Vorstellungen von Bikern, sondern sah \u00fcberwiegend viel besser aus und hatte ausgepr\u00e4gte und wohlgeformte Rundungen.<br \/>\nZur\u00fcck gings per Taxi, so gegen Mitternacht waren wir dann zu Bett.<br \/>\nAm Freitag brachen Tobias und John nach dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck zum sogenannten Green Market auf und ich blieb im Hotel und schrieb am Blog.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roadstomongolia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/img_2044.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 2044\" width=\"450\" height=\"252\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roadstomongolia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/img_2046.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 2046\" width=\"450\" height=\"252\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roadstomongolia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/img_2047.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 2047\" width=\"450\" height=\"252\"><\/p>\n<p>Gegen fr\u00fchen Nachmittag kamen sie zur\u00fcck und Tobias brachte mir ein paar Erdn\u00fcsse und oberleckere N\u00fcsse mit.<br \/>\nF\u00fcr sich hatte er ein neues Ritzel und \u00d6l mitgebracht. Das Ritzel wurde fix montiert und danach sa\u00dfen wir im Kaffee, um den Blog hoch zu laden. Und jetzt wird John ein bisschen schreiben:<\/p>\n<p>My friend Andy and myself arrived at the Pamir Lodge with Dennis the Russian we had found broken down on a pass two days previous.<br \/>\nUntil meeting Dennis we had gone many days without seeing any other motorcyle travellers, as we entered the Lodge we were very susprised to see four other motorcycles already there.<br \/>\nAs we pulled up two of the riders came across to greet us and introduced themselfes, it turned out that they were two more English riders, Terry Brown and his friend Filex Wright who were both riding bikes similar to Andys.<br \/>\nWe then wandered across to the other two riders and interduced ourselfes to Wolfgang and Tobias.<\/p>\n<p>After a evening of drinking beer and eating food we found out that we were both planing to do roughly the same route.<\/p>\n<p>That night both me and Andy can down with a very bad case of food poisioning and were in no fit state to continue our travels the next day so we decieded to stay another night.<\/p>\n<p>Wolfgang and Tobias were also staying another night due to foot injury which Wolfgang had done in a fall a couple of days previous.<\/p>\n<p>The following day we all teamed up together to ride to the next destination as we were all traveling the same road for the next couple of days. We had a good days riding until late in the afternoon with about 15km to go Tobias suffered a puncture. By the time we had replaced the tube it was raing heavy and we had a wet ride into the next stop at Murghab were we spent the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2. Juli + 3.
